What does organic mean? 

Organic farming gives the customer a delicious and authentic product that respects the natural cycles of plants and animals.

Organic products are better for you :

  • They are pesticide free.
  • They are free from GMOs.

Organic products are better for the environment :

  • They don’t pollute the soil (no pesticides or chemical fertilisers).
  • They produce fewer greenhouse effect gases.
  • They respect and promote biodiversity at every level.

How do you identify an organic product?

You can use the labels below to identify an organic product :

  • The AB logo

    Label AB

    The AB label (the French abbreviation for organic farming) guarantees that the product is made up of at least 95% organic ingredients - this is in line with French regulations (the 5% tolerance is due to the fact that not all ingredients are available in an organic form - nevertheless, this 5% of ingredients is still strictly regulated).

    This certification is controlled by Ecocert :

  • The European logo

    Label Europe

    Since 1st January 2010, this logo is compulsory for all products that originate from organic farming. As with the AB logo, the European logo guarantees that at least 95% of the ingredients of the product are organic.
